The Brady Street Business Improvement District (BID) invites the community to join a candlelight memorial walk in honor of the late Alderman Jonathan Brostoff. This solemn event will take place on Monday, November 11th, beginning at 5 PM at the Roman Coin, located at 1004 E Brady Street.

Participants will gather to pay their respects and remember Alderman Brostoff’s contributions to the Milwaukee community. Candles will be provided for all attendees to carry during the walk, symbolizing the light he brought to our city.

At 6 PM, the group will commence a silent stroll down Brady Street, concluding at Farwell Avenue. This walk is a time for reflection and remembrance, allowing community members to honor Alderman Brostoff’s legacy together in solidarity.

We encourage all members of the community to come together in this moment of remembrance and support. The Brady Street BID stands united in our grief and commitment to carry forward the values and vision Alderman Brostoff championed.

“Alderman Jonathan Brostoff had a vision for our community that included fostering connections through regular gatherings, like a monthly walking tour of Brady Street. This candlelight memorial walk is a heartfelt way to honor his legacy and bring our community together in remembrance. I hope this event inspires us to continue his mission of unity and togetherness, making it a regular tradition that celebrates the spirit of our neighborhood.”
