‘Merica On Brady Street: May 28th
The BID is holding a new event this year to raise money for the Brady documentary, Dryhootch, and Cass St School. The inaugural Memorial Day weekend event, ‘Merica on Brady Street, is a bar crawl that will be held on Sunday, May 28 from noon to 6 PM!
The tickets are $25 each and include a t-shirt, discounts on drinks at the participating 16 businesses, and free access to the shuttle bus that will take participants up and down Brady Street during the event.

Tamarack After Dark
Tamarack invites current and prospective families, as well as the larger community, to join them for Tamarack After Dark on Saturday, April 22 from 6 PM to 8 PM. The evening will include the following:
- Experience Waldorf lessons throughout the curriculum
- Student Art Show
- Dessert and drinks will be served
- Conversations with Faculty and Staff
- Connect with other Tamarack parents
- Music by Tamarack alum: Aidan Williams-Brusubardis
They’re very excited to bring this event back!

Lilliput Records & Record Store Day April 22, with Nomad Coffee Bar
For this year’s Record Store Day installment (Saturday, April 22), Lilliput Records and Milwaukee Record have ambitious plans for a day full of live music, DJ sets, a pop-up cafe, raffles for concert tickets and other goodies, and the chance to get discounts at BanditMKE and Twisted Plants.
Nomad Coffee Bar will be opening at 6 AM to serve people in line and will have a pop-up coffee stand in Lilliput for Record Store day!
Oh, Lilliput will also have some new Record Store Day releases on hand and will be offering sales on a variety of non-RSD releases all day long. Come for the deals and stay to hear DJ sets and free performances by Doubter, Heather The Jerk, and William Seidel.

Bandit MKE: The Great Vintage Overstock Sale April 21 – 23
Bandit MKE welcomes the return of The Great Vintage Overstock Sale, April 21 – 23 from Noon till 6. Thousands of vintage clothing items will line the sidewalk outside of Bandit MKE—dig through dozens of $5 bins, and shop the $10 and $20 racks. Then help us clean up on Sunday by filling a massive garbage bag for just $25!!
None of the clothing has ever been featured in the shop, and we’ve been collecting SO MUCH STUFF all winter long. Come early to grab the good stuff and then come back to get cheap deals!
Dryhootch Coffee Shop Art Sale
Dryhootch Coffee Shop is hosting an art sale! This event will take advantage of our large patio area, which has space for up to 12 vendors. We are currently looking for local vendors who are interested in purchasing a table. The art sale will be an excellent opportunity for artists and vendors to showcase their artwork while supporting a great cause. All profits from the art sale will go towards veteran resources.
We invite all interested vendors to apply by emailing our event coordinator at Julia@dryhootch.org before April 22. We are asking for a suggested donation of $25, and please bring your own table. Priority will be given to early applications as well as veteran artists.
