Milwaukee—February 1, 2024 Glorioso’s Italian Market, a longtime community favorite, is proud to announce its 78th anniversary milestone. Founded on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1946, brothers Joe, Eddie, and Teddy opened Glorioso Brothers Foods. With a focus on selling high-quality Italian products and providing an exceptional customer experience, they have become one of Milwaukee’s most iconic businesses.
Throughout the years, Glorioso’s has created a special culture of community, development, and growth. They moved their original 1,500 sq. ft. store across the street and expanded it to 10,000 sq. ft. in 2010. The family also developed a variety of other businesses alongside the market, including Trio’s Pizza, Gloriosos’s Italian Villa fine dining restaurant, Glorioso’s Italian Foods Group family recipe private label products, and Glorioso’s Appetito culinary center.
To celebrate, Glorioso’s Italian Market is having a special 78th Anniversary Sale featuring a wide range of customer favorite products, including Glorioso’s family recipe sauces, giardiniera, Italian cheeses, wine, and more. The sale runs February 1 – 29.
“Glorioso’s is more than Italian food. We are a destination where our customers have allowed us to be part of their lives for the past 78 years,” said Michael Glorioso, General Manager. “This month is about saying thank you to our customers and our community that has generously supported us.”
