Welcome Two New Businesses to Brady Street: Slyfox & B’Clipd
Brady Street has continued to bounce back from the pandemic with new businesses being added nearly every other month. It’s a testament to the vibrant Brady St neighborhood that businesses are eager to open in the area. Slyfox is located next to Sticky Rice, another new business in the Brady St BID, on Van Buren. It offers delicious cocktails in a speakeasy setting and is guaranteed to be a new favorite for those who enjoy a nice drink in a relaxing atmosphere. B’Clipd has opened their second location on Brady St, after their first location on Fond du lac Ave had so much business they needed to expand. B’Clipd offers sleek and stylish men’s haircuts. The Brady St BID welcomes Slyfox and B’Clipd—we hope you will too!
Weekend Street Cleaning
The Brady St BID Board of Directors approved doubling the street cleaning budget at the September board meeting. There is a new service, HB Services, that will be providing street cleaning and trash pickup on Saturdays and Sundays. The BID also currently hires Riverworks for street cleaning/trash pickup during the week, from March through November. HB Services has been hired through January to provide weekday and weekend cleaning once the Riverworks contract ends for 2022. The board will review the needs of the street in January to determine if HB’s contract will be extended.
HALLOWEEN ON BRADY
