Often eclipsed by swaggering Chicago, Milwaukee's charms are easy to miss. It's more a patchwork of neighborhoods than a big city, but it's worth the attention. The former industrial powerhouse is rebuilding from the bottom up, the outside in, rejuvenating commerce and culture while retaining its Victorian look.
